The BrainAware Education campaign is aimed at involving the youth of Australia in Brain Awareness Week. The impact of brain and mind disorders will perhaps be greatest upon those who are now school age, and as such, increasing awareness and understanding of the brain and mind in this group is important. It is also important to inspire them, as some young Australians will become the next generation of neuroscientists.

Schools and other educational institutions are encouraged to participate in the BrainAware campaign. Whether it is by fundraising for a local brain and mind related charity, or by arranging to visit, or be visited by, a neuroscience researcher, the participation of schools and their students is an invaluable component of the BrainAware Campaign.

The links below offer a number of resources that can be used in classrooms as activities in Brain Awareness Week.
