In Australia, the Australian Neuroscience Society, the Brain Foundation and Neurosciences Australia have joined together to promote the week.

In order for the BrainAware campaign to reach as many people as possible we are inviting organisations across Australia to participate by registering as BrainAware Partners.

Partners may particpate at any level, from endorsement of the campaign through to initiating and hosting events. Individuals are encouraged to participate by volunteering to help partner organisations in your area and/or attending local events.

BrainAware partners benefit from promotion of the campaign by the Australian Neuroscience Society, the Brain Foundation and Neurosciences Australia, directing traffic to the BrainAware website. Partners also have access to the secure Partner area of the site which provides logos, banner ads, educational materials, event and media management tools and access to register events on the event calendar.

BrainAware Partners are essential to the success of the campaign, bringing a diversity of events and interests into the public arena in the shared aim of increasing public awareness of the incidence and impact of brain and mind disorders. By working together we can increase the awareness of specific areas within the broader context of brain and mind research in a way that can seldom be achieved by the indicidual organisation working alone.
